A Nightmares Dream

Sirens sing their awful tune
Smoke and dust fill every ruin
People flee their eyes in terror
From vast destruction, doomed forever

I run alone from ruin to ruin
Seeking friends I once knew
Everyone's dead I fear its true
Darkest night descend on you

Three minutes is all we had
To save our life, to flee from bad
A warning of impending violence
Missile aimed "Satan Dances"

A mushroom cloud in the distance
Sucks up mankind, his existence with it
I feel the blast I fall to the ground
Nothing can save us I cry aloud

Oh my God what have we done
You gave us Life, Love, the Sun
But use our gifts we did with woe,
Impending Death take my soul

I awake alone in a tiny room
Sweating nervously I scan the view
Everything the same as the night before
A terrible nightmare that was all
But wait what that noise I hear outside..
A noisy hum....A deadly whine
